ELEMENTS OF THE EXHIBITION
PROFESSIONAL ARTISTS
The artwork of professional artists from the Arab world based at twofour45 were exhibited in the exhibition. Their range of artwork provided context and inspiration for the young emerging artists who participated in the programme. Artists' included Dr. Hosni and Mariam. The pioneering animation 'HomeTales' celebrating the life and philosophy of the late Sheikh Zayed was on view in addition to the screening of 'Freej'.
STOPgo ANIMATIONS
The exhibition focused on displaying the creative process and the participant's final artwork in an interactive way. ipads, imacs and a SmartTV enabled the visitors to explore the three stages of the programme and select the StopGo animations created by the students to illustrate their understanding of theme 'The Hero Inside', all of us. LIVE COMIC ARTS
Participants from Al Bateen presented elements of the Drama Writing workshops. They demonstrated the 'Live Comic Arts' strategy using the Freeze Frame technique to replicate the comic book storyboard. This creative process was used in association with ForumTheatre in the workshops to explore stories with a moral dilemma prior to writing individual stories.
