This short film & theatre book of Crying in the Wilderness Production's play Conundrum highlights our exploration into the near death experience through the public life review of a single protagonist. Rooted in the successful integration of Caribbean and Asian cultural phenomena the goal of our research and development process was to create dynamic experiences for our audience by striving to evolve the ideologies of our theatrical art form.
Funded by Arts Council England, Crying in the Wilderness Productions collaborated with Nomad Creative Consultancy, a film director, musical director, a group of musicians, a choreographer, an actor, an assistant director and a lighting designer to explore whether our personal achievements or failures are heavily influenced by the unseen hand of destiny or the social engineering of our environments.
