THE CONCEPT
EXPAND THE CREATIVE PROCESS
CREATE a series of short films documenting the creative process of the director, actor, musicians and choreographer during the research and development.
INTEGRATE the films into the e-theatrebook to enable the audience to explore the creative process before or after the performance.
CREATIVE
INSPIRATION
The short films introduce the audience to the complex themes within the play. The films document the actor's creative process, information on the accompanying musical score and the director's breakdown of the protagonist's 'Life in Review'.
Film footage, text, audio recordings and images are interlaced to create a multi-dimensional experience.
CONSULTANCY
PURPOSE OF THE FILM
The short films within the e-Theatrebook encourage personal reflection and enable the audience member to explore the protagonist's journey, inspiring themselves to undertake their own 'Life Review'.
The Conundrum R&D project was funded by the Arts Council England and advocates new writing.
